Pursuit of Happiness

In today’s world we hear the importance of taking care of our mental health, but how is it resonating with our melanated brothers?  As a Clinician in Private Practice, I work primarily with BIPOC (Black Indigenous People Of Color) or better stated, “Black and Brown Adults.” Unfortunately, I don’t see the number of Black Men in my practice as I would like. In my past, I’ve worked with larger numbers of Black Men who were court ordered to attend therapy or in an immediate crisis.
